Mike was an original member of the FBM Bike Company team, and he has represented FBM since then. Tag was instrumental in helping Steve Crandall transform FBM from a small T-shirt screen-printing business into a bike company with an entire product line that includes custom-made bikes and hand-built bike frames. FBM has set up a fund to help support his medical efforts. Get more information, stay up to date on Mike Tag events, and make a donation on FBM?s site.

BMX Legend Mike Tag

Tag was a major force in the evolution of BMX freestyle dirt and street riding, creating grind variations that are still done today. He has also been an integral part of creating pivotal videos and developing the art of BMX video production.Tag's riding and filming are featured in numerous FBM videos as well as many Props and Road Fools videos. Brian Tunney of ESPN said it all: "To put it bluntly, Mike Tag's riding influenced an entire generation of BMX."

Tag is not only a rider and all-around badass BMX legend, but a video producer and part owner ofSh!tluck Clothing. He's an excellent pool player and part owner of a tavern with friends Kate Conroy and Rob Johnson (they are in the process of renovating). Over the next few months, his friends and fans, the Tag Team, are working to help Mike through this huge challenge and they, as well as Tag, appreciate the support. Mike needs to continue to receive the proper medical care to beat cancer. Anyone who wishes, can donate to the Mike Tag Fund and help a true BMX legend pay off his medical bills.
