I saw the news break earlier this week that she was no longer dating Michael Sheen. Initially, we weren't given much information on what went wrong. Today, though, an article surfaced detailing why the two split.
According to the report,?Michael couldn't fully commit. "Rachel wants to settle down and dreams of having a family. Michael always seemed content with their relationship. Since he already has a 14-year old daughter, he?feels no need to have more children. He wants to focus on his career."
I'm sad for Rachel because she must have loved Michael very much if she wanted to have a family with him. It's so hard when a woman realizes?she wants more than a man does.?I admire any woman who has the courage to leave because she's going after?what?she wants in life!
Like Rachel, it isn't a good?idea to stay?and hope he'll change his mind.?This could?wreck your self-esteem.?Make the effort to find someone who wants what you do.
Take note?that if you've never had children and are dating a man who?already has that he might not want?more babies -- especially if his are almost adults as is the case with Michael. It's not an absolute?because plenty of men love children. But,?keep an eye out.
As I suggest with all relationships, don't fall asleep at the wheel. If a man has children, pay attention to what he says about whether he'll ever do it again. The last thing a woman has time to do is spin her wheels in a romance?going nowhere.
