You?ve probably already heard that getting too much sun could cause skin cancer. But do you really know the facts about skin cancer?
Consider the following skin cancer facts:
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States.
There are actually three different types of skin cancer, but one type is more deadly.
Contact with certain chemicals can also cause skin cancer.
There?s no doubt that skin cancer is a killer, but thankfully the news about sun exposure isn?t all bad. In fact, a small amount of sunshine is actually healthy because it provides our bodies with vitamin D.
