Windows Windows 8 upgrade help from 32 XP key

Hello I want to upgrade to windows 8. I got Xp 32 bit key. But I want 64-bit Windows 8. How will I go around getting 64-bit version. Currently I'm using 64-bit Ubuntu.

Help will be very much appreciated I've been looking through forums and everything for about three hours.
